Science tells us that identical twins share exact DNA. They are, or should be, an exact replica of one another. As an individual, who represents this scientific phenomenon, I see the world much differently than that of my twin brother. It is this difference that has sparked my interest in individuality. I have never met two people who share a similar life story because our experiences and perspectives shape our perception. The way in which we use those experiences within our own lives is what creates diversity and instills in us a new lesson or opportunity to learn for our own lives. It is with this perspective that I believe diversity stems not from racial/ cultural backgrounds or religious beliefs, but instead I believe it stems from the diversity of the mind.
